| PyMP3Cut is a Python command line tool designed to cut huge (> 100MB) MP3 files at high speed without requiring the extra disk space and processing time usually needed by visual audio editing tools, which convert the MP3 format to more easily manageable formats like WAV before doing anything. It reads and cuts simultaneously according to the autodetected MP3 frame rate and a timeline passed as a command line argument. It doesn't currently deal with Variable Bit Rate (VBR) MP3 files, though. | ||

| Tux Paint is a simple and entertaining drawing program geared towards young children. It has a simple interface, sound effects, and a cartoon character (Tux, the Linux penguin). Along with drawing brush strokes, lines and shapes, you can also enter text and place "rubber stamp" (or "sticker") images on the picture. Tux Paint is extensible, and could be useful in an educational environment (such as a grammar, elementary, or grade school). It's portable across numerous platforms, and runs well even on slower systems like the Pentium 133MHz. | ||

| It is a 3d deathmatch game made entirely over the internet. | This is a script which uses Rsync over SSH to make backups to another server. The aim is that there had to be almost nothing being installed on the backupserver (dst-server), except for the availability of a SSH-server and a user. There also had to be some keys for SSH-authentication. The src-server is gonna take care of all the jobs that has to be done on the dst-server, so if the src-server fails, there will be an up-2-date snapshot on the dst-server. | ||

| nmzmail is a tool to use the namazu2 search engine from within the mutt mail reader to search mail stored in maildir folders. Based on the result of the namazu query, nmzmail generates a maildir folder containing symbolic links to the mails matching the query. A simple mutt macro makes easy to use nmzmail from within mutt. nmzmail is pretty similar to mairix, but the code is much simpler, as it uses an external program as search engine. | ||
