The goal of this library is to give programmers a simple yet powerful applet interface.
This library supports both Dockapps and Gnome 2 Panel Applets. The applet program doesn't have to care about if the applet will be used on the Gnome panel or in the dock. The library handles that.

Autorip and autotag are a pair of shell-scripts which automate the ripping and encoding of CDs to MP3. They were written with the idea of disconnected operation in mind:
* CDs can be ripped to WAV files at anytime,
* CDs are identified from FreeDB the next time the machine is connected to the net,
* WAV files are tagged and encoded to MP3 at a later time.

BalanceNG is a modern software IP load balancing solution. It is small, fast, and easy to use and setup. It offers session persistence, different distribution methods (Round Robin, Random, Hash, and Least Resource) and a customizable UDP health check agent in source code. It supports VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol) to set up high availability configurations on multiple nodes. It integrates pcap packet dumping for debugging purposes and allows the implementation of a "transparent forensic logging bridge". It supports "all service load balancing" based on client IP address which allows almost any protocol to be supported. It supports single legged operations, either on IP-Level or as DSR (Direct Server Return / "nPath") configuration.

| Ion |
http://modeemi.cs.tut.fi/~tuomov/ion/ |
0x |
|
Ion is a tiling tabbed window manager designed with keyboard users in mind.
Ion was written as an experiment on a different kind of window management model. It tries to address the navigation problem by dividing the screen into mutually non-overlapping frames that take up the whole screen. Big displays have so much space that this should be convenient and smaller displays couldn't show more than one window at a time anyway. The frame layout is, of course, dynamic and different on each workspace. Given the organised tree based instead of an unorganised coordinate-based frame layout, moving between the frames can be conveniently done from the keyboard. As in PWM, the frames may have multiple clients attached, each indicated with a tab.
