|
TCPfork is a userland TCP proxy with advanced load balancing capabilities. Its core features are the ability to load balance on a "least connection" basis and the ability to take the machine load into account ("least load" or "least resource" load balancing). This is implemented by using the bngagent UDP protocol. It performs "TCP open" health checks by default and allows the use of external health check scripts. TCPfork 2.x introduces a highly optimized multithreading connection scheduler, allowing fast processing of high numbers of concurrent connections

|
BalanceNG is a modern software IP load balancing solution. It is small, fast, and easy to use and setup. It offers session persistence, different distribution methods (Round Robin, Random, Hash, and Least Resource) and a customizable UDP health check agent in source code. It supports VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol) to set up high availability configurations on multiple nodes. It integrates pcap packet dumping for debugging purposes and allows the implementation of a "transparent forensic logging bridge". It supports "all service load balancing" based on client IP address which allows almost any protocol to be supported. It supports single legged operations, either on IP-Level or as DSR (Direct Server Return / "nPath") configuration.

CrossJibe’s core product is CrossSync, a systems configuration management platform that lets systems administrators deploy software and manage configuration changes across all of a business's Unix machines and networking devices from a single access point.
Administrators can
Track configuration changes made anywhere across their network,
simultaneously roll out new configurations to multiple servers, and
restart services on any number of servers all at once, even if they are running different operating systems.
A lightweight agent application runs on each of the organization's servers to securely communicate with the CrossSync platform.

Very precise typographic system creates printable PostScript or PDF output from source text file using special markup language. Source files are platform-independent and may be written in any plain-text editor. Formatting is done by inserting \foocommand{parameter1}{parameter2} directly into text. TeX converts the source file into final file (it's a batch processing, not interactive). TeX may be used for typesetting of various texts, especially for long scientific articles with complex mathematical formulas decent number of images.
