This little app reads a file that has 3 lines with 8 or less chars per line and keeps updating the display based on whats in the file. This allows you to plug-in your own scripts for monitoring anything. I have provided an example script that grabs weather information from weather.com based on a zip code. It's just a little hack to wmtop, but hopefully the non-C hackers will enjoy it.

WMMemMon is a memory/swap monitor dockapp. The current memory usage is displaied as the outside pie-slices. The swap usage is represented by the inside slices. The back-light may be turned on/off by clicking the mouse button over the appliacation. If the usage hits a certain threshold, an alarm-mode will alert you by turning back-light on. It runs on GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Solaris, Cygwin, IRIX and Darwin.
