LMARBLES |
http://lgames.sourceforge.net/[..]ject=LMarbles |
5489x |
LMarbles is an Atomix clone with a slight change in concept. Instead of assembling molecules you create figures out of marbles. Nevertheless, the basic game play is the same: If a marble starts to move it will not stop until it hits a wall or another marble. To make it more interesting there are obstacles like one-way streets, crumbling walls and portals.
As Marbles is meant as a puzzle game you play against a move limit and not a time limit. This way you have as much time as you need to think.

This is a pack of 18 different tetris-like games, with different blocks, grids, strategies and logic. This is a real tetris jukebox! Some of the games are the all-time classics, some are completely new and untasted. Get a whole score of games, a dollar apiece! Upgrades are free, as well as online support.
In all games your goal is to keep the board from filling up as long as possible and get the highest score. There are six types of the game, all of them are available on three different grids - rectangular, hexagonal and triangular grids. Every grid brings some special tricks and different strategies of playing, so the same game on different grids appears to be a set of three completely different games.
You can play free for two week's time. A remainder will be shown every now and then.

Xmahjongg |
http://www.lcdf.org/xmahjongg/ |
5459x |
Real Mah Jongg is a social game that originated in China thousands of years ago. Four players, named after the four winds, take tiles from a wall in turn. The best tiles are made of ivory and wood; they click pleasantly when you knock them together. Computer Solitaire Mah Jongg (xmahjongg being one of the sillier examples) is nothing like that but it's fun, or it must be, since there are like 300 shareware versions available for Windows. This one is for X11 and it's free.

Rotate Mania |
http://linuxbag.com/[..]rotate_mania/ |

Fresh new game, combining elements of arcade and puzzle to form a very addictive mix. If you like Tetris, Clickomania, BlockBuster - this one is in the same vein but quite different and entertaining. Several game modes and skill levels are included to make it even more fun. Strip and Shift Mania are for people who love meditative strategic games. Time Mania is exactly what it says - you will be hard pressed to win the game, as new blocks will appear while you are thinking on the next move - you'll have to be quick. A Demo mode will give you some extra minutes of fun, as well as an exhibition of the rules in action.
You can play free for two week's time. A remainder will be shown every now and then.
