Monster Masher is a GPL'ed mash'em-up action game for GNOME. Each level contains a number of blocks and monsters. You're a little gnome running around. By pushing the blocks you can mash the monsters one ata time. There are various power-ups and different kinds of monsters.

Deathchase 3D is a remake of the Spectrum game of the same name, which is itself based on the sequence in "Return of the Jedi" chasing Stormtroopers through the forests of Endor on light-speeders. It's a fake perspective 3D game: avoid the trees and shoot the bad guys ahead of you. It uses the SDL library. It is written for Linux but should run on anything SDL supports.

This is the Linux port of the Retrospec remake of the classic 8-bit game, Head over Heels. Head over Heels is an isometric action/puzzle game, in which two dog-like creatures are trying to escape a repressive regime. They can be controlled individually, or linked together into a single, more powerful creature.

Glaxium is a new take on the classic Galaga game. It maintains a tribute feel by offering two forms of gameplay, one of which is the traditional 2D game. King of the Hill (KOTH) is a multiplayer, networked artillery game of little tanks with really big weapons set out to destroy one another. Best-known games of this type include the classic DOS game "Scorched Earth: The Mother of All Games" and "Scorched Tanks" for the Amiga, but the concept has been implemented on everything from the TI-85 graphing calculator on up. KOTH seeks to build on the best ideas from these games while also taking a fresh, approach including an open, network-centric architecture and concurrent progressive event modeling.
