The window

movie

With this window, you can produce movies of your routines.

The different edition mode are described below.

The bottom part of the window is used to :

The Editing mode

This mode gives you a global view of the stage, not related to a viewpoint.

Use it to :

The Recording mode

In this mode, the view is the same as the one which will be played.

Using the left button, you can change the point you are looking at.
Using the middle button, you can change the point you are looking from.
Using the right button, you can access a popup menu allowing you to select the same viewpoint than the next (or previous) control point.

Once your position is right, you can record it by pressing the red button icon.

When the current match the time of a control point, you can delete it by pressing the icon with the red cross.

tip When defining a movie, you usually start with the Recording mode to sketch the move of you camera. Then you switch back to the Editing mode to fine tune the movement and/or control the handles of the bezier curves.

The Playing mode

In this mode, you can not change the 3D view. In fact, this mode is useful to view the movie. It will hide all the control informations and let you visualize the result of the movie (use the arrow keys to change the time and/or the space bar to activation the animation).

Just set the time at 0, press the Space key, relax and enjoy the routine !
