Autoupdate http://www.mat.univie.ac.at/[..]p/autoupdate/ 1795x
AutoUpdate is a Perl script which performs a task similar to RedHat's up2date or autorpm. It can be used to automatically download and upgrade rpms from different (s)ftp or http(s) sites. Moreover, it can also be used to keep a server with a customized (RedHat) distribution plus all clients up to date. I have tried to write it in such a way that it is not RedHat specific and hence it should work with any other rpm based distribution as well.

BeFS-driver for Linux http://befs-driver.sourceforge.net/ 1795x
BeFS-driver is a read-only Linux 2.4 filesystem driver for the Be filesystem, the native filesystem of Be (includes BeOS).

Ginko http://www.radagast.org/[..]~dplatt/unix/ 1795x
Ginko is a simple "wish" application, which provides a GUI front end allowing a flatbed scanner and a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet printer to be used as a copier.

Caudium http://caudium.net/ 1795x
Caudium is a single process multi-threaded Web server. It has a built-in pre-processing language and an early stage of XSLT-support. The server also comes with a fast log parser. Configuration is easily done using a WWW-GUI.

wmBinClock http://www.inxsoft.net/wmbinclock/ 1795x
It shows the actual system time as binary clock. You have to add up the "bits" to get the time.

Kallers http://www.nadmm.com/kallers/ 1794x
Kallers is KDE system tray applet that displays the Caller ID information sent by phone companies.

pdf417decode http://sourceforge.net/[..]pdf417decode/ 1794x
Pdf417decode can decode PDF417 barcode information from a pbm file. The decoder is rather simple, and ignores error correction info. PDF417, or Portable Data File 417, is a two-dimensional stacked bar code symbology capable of encoding over a kilobyte of data per label.

WMitime http://www.neotokyo.org/[..]ock_apps.html 1794x
WMitime is yet another clock dock app (and quite overglorified at that! :) it shows standard time, date, as well as the new internet time .

slst http://www.vanheusden.com/slst/ 1794x
slst generates statistics from the output of syslog.

imwheel http://imwheel.sourceforge.net/ 1794x
Imwheel makes the wheel of your Intellimouse (and other wheel and stick mice) work in Linux/X11 to scroll windows up and down.

GnoSamba http://packages.debian.org/[..]dmin/gnosamba 1794x
GnoSamba is a GUI tool for the configuration of Samba, the SMB file server on X11/Unix. It will read, edit and write /etc/samba/smb.conf, an alternate configuration file, or from a network. It uses the Gnome.

E-Mbuttons http://vmicho.host.sk/[..]/projects.php 1794x
E-Mbuttons is a small epplet which acts as an application launcher. It's composed of several buttons. Each button executes one command (application or script). Several visual effects are applied after clicking a button. You can customize the epplet geometry, the number of buttons/columns/rows, and allowed effects. It consumes an insignificant amount of resources.

Speedtouch USB ADSL Drivers http://speedtouch.sourceforge.net/ 1793x
The GPL Speedtouch USB ADSL driver is different from the "official" Alcatel Linux drivers in several respects. First, it is implemented in user-space, which means that the application of kernel patches or insertion of kernel modules is not required. It also implements its on pppoa encapsulation, so you can use the standard pppd program.

SquiDeral http://squideral.sourceforge.net/ 1793x
SquiDeral is an easy to use, configurable Web-based interface program for presenting the statistics created by squid cache proxy daemon in a "human-readable" format.

wmSweet http://web.pdx.edu/[..]keen/wmsweet/ 1792x
This little app reads a file that has 3 lines with 8 or less chars per line and keeps updating the display based on whats in the file. This allows you to plug-in your own scripts for monitoring anything. I have provided an example script that grabs weather information from weather.com based on a zip code. It's just a little hack to wmtop, but hopefully the non-C hackers will enjoy it.
