| There are situations where you want to hide your IP-address from the cruel world. In that case, this program can help you unless you have a shell-account somewhere(!). Start this program (preferrably in a SCREEN-session) and add a porforwarding-rule. Connect to the portnumber you defined and there you are: you can connect to some host through some other host so the destination-host will see the ip-address of the middle-host. When you're done: delete the portforwarding-rule. For all of this no root-privileges are required, you only need to use portnumbers above 1024. | ||
