Gnometab aims to be a WYSIWYG guitar tablature editor. Its features include copying and pasting of tablature passages, a chord library (which the user must fill), the ability to create a variety of tablature symbols specific to the guitar, and clean-looking printed output. It does not attempt to be "smart", i.e. it does not know how many beats are in a measure, nor does it know an E chord from an Am chord. Instead, the emphasis has been on the appearance of the output.

OZradio is a Linux GUI application that provides a CD player, CD ripper, Ogg file player, playlist editor, and mixer, and supports video4linux radio cards if installed. CD info, including track and artist information, is retrieved from freedb using HTTP and stored locally. The CD player, ripper, and Ogg file player display this CD/file information. The CD ripper will put the information into the Ogg files. Video4Linux compatable radio cards are supported if installed, with the ability to save up to 10 preset stations, volume control, a mute button, automatic frequency scanning, on-demand recording and replay of radio, and programmable recording.

Mp3Kult organizes your mp3/ogg collection in a Mysql database.
It can read Mp3/Ogg Tag and song information (length, bit rate sample rate etc.), make playlists, play song with an external player (xmms, gqmpeg), find a song in database,(base and advanced search) and make a copy of a playlist on your hard disk (to play the playlist without inserting cdroms).
Mp3Kult can scan recursivly directories, looking for mp3/ogg and automatically mount, umount, eject cdroms before/after job.

Grip is a CD player and CD ripper/MP3-encoder for the GNOME desktop. It has the ripping capabilities of cdparanoia built in, but can also use external rippers (such as cdda2wav).
